Raise funds for CCSVI Alliance – While you Christmas shop!

There is a new way to raise money for CCSVI Alliance, and it won’t cost you anything. They are set up with iGive, which donates a percent of your purchases from over 700 stores like Amazon, Overstock, and eBay. Or a penny whenever you use their web search. Christmas shopping season is coming up, and with over 20,000 Facebook members in various CCSVI groups, we should be able to raise a good amount this way.

In the past 10 days iGive has donated $13.93 from my searches and shopping! And you can book your CCSVI travel this way too.

CCSVI Alliance was founded by the first CCSVI patients in the US. Many of you know Joan Beal, she and her husband launched CCSVI research in the US, when Joan took the research of Dr. Zamboni to Dr Michael Dake at Stanford University Hospital. He undertook the first treatment of CCSVI in the US on Joan’s husband Jeff. Joan continued her advocacy work for others seeking treatment, then joined with others affected by MS, to form an official advocacy group. They clearly state contributions will go towards CCSVI research, and patient/doctor education through the website and conferences.

Let’s lend them our support any way we can, starting with the iGive shop/search donation program.

I found set up easy. I opted to install the iGive toolbar, so I can easily access the search box at the top of my web browser. It even displays a running total for how much has been raised, and whenever you go to iGive.com you will see how much your activity has contributed. If you missed the toolbar set up, you can access it here.

Let’s all try iGive, and encourage others to join us!
